Learn the of process of creating a project and connecting to a locally saved data set. To begin, navigate to the projects page and select "New Project." You'll be prompted to name your project and optionally provide a brief description for reference. You can choose to keep your project private, accessible only to you, or share it with all team members in your account. After naming the project, you can assign a tag for easy identification later.
Once your project is created, the next step is to connect to your data. If you’re new to AI Studio, your queue will likely be empty. However, if you've used data sets before, the system will suggest those for your convenience. For this example, you’ll connect to a new asset by clicking the "New Asset" button. Give your data set a meaningful name, then specify the asset type and the path to your locally saved data. Currently, AI Studio allows connections to data sets stored locally or on AWS S3, with plans to integrate Azure and GCP in the future.
When selecting your local data, remember to provide a path to the folder where your data is saved. For instance, if your data set is on the desktop, navigate to that folder. It’s essential to note that AI Studio does not accept spaces in folder names; use dashes instead. You can add an optional description and tag before creating the asset. After creating the project and connecting your data set, you will be taken directly inside the project. Returning to the project screen, you’ll see your newly created project listed, allowing both you and your collaborators to access and start working together seamlessly.
