At SRI’s AI Agents and Super-Productivity experts shared that agents are predicted to make up >70% of internet traffic in the future, according to a repot by Imperva, bots account for almost 50% of traffic today.

With a rising flood of agentic tools, my question is how are you planning to identify if an action is by a human or by an agent? When you do, how do you plan to handle the action request? What tools, tips, groups, and methods are you working with to resolve IDing agent?

This situation definitely presents significant challenges. From my experience, biometric verification has been the most effective method so far for ensuring user authenticity. Complementing this with strong user authentication and multifactor authentication (MFA) further strengthens identity verification processes. If we detect an agent or suspect non-human activity, deploying extra verification protocols like CAPTCHAs or step-up authentication can help filter out automated actions.
