We’re excited to celebrate Amed Coulibaly, Senior Data Scientist at Voodoo, as our July Ambassador of the Month! Amed has consistently shown leadership in community engagement, technical contributions, and real-world impact using HP AI tools and Z by HP workstations.

Here’s a closer look at some of the incredible work he’s been involved in:

Sustainability Hackathon with Sorbonne University

Amed played a key role in establishing a partnership between HP and the MoSEF Master’s program at Sorbonne University. Together, they co-hosted a sustainability-focused hackathon at HP’s Meudon office with over 30 students in attendance.

Using HP ZBook Fury workstations, students explored ways to reduce the carbon footprint of HP’s transport chain by 50%. The event was a powerful example of how data science and hands-on collaboration can advance corporate sustainability goals.

Optimizing for AMD ROCm: Technical Whitepaper & Tutorial

As part of his work with the HP Stryx Halo workstation and Z2 Mini G1a, Amed has been testing model transfers from CUDA to AMD architectures. His findings will be published in an upcoming technical whitepaper, alongside tutorials designed to help the community better understand how to optimize AI workflows for AMD ROCm environments.

Big Data & AI Salon Presentation

At the Big Data & AI Salon, Amed represented HP with a presentation on PII management and LLM development using HP’s hybrid compute and AI Studio stack. His session helped illustrate how HP solutions are being used in real-world, production-level applications—bridging the gap between innovation and deployment.

AI Studio Feedback & Early Testing

Amed has also been a key contributor in the early testing phase of HP AI Studio, providing detailed feedback that has helped shape feature development and improve the user experience in the lead-up to launch.

Beyond the Code

When he’s not working on AI systems or speaking at events, Amed is pushing boundaries elsewhere—he recently ran his first sub-3-hour marathon at the Rotterdam Marathon. He’s also back on Kaggle, aiming to climb the global leaderboard once again.

We’re proud to have Amed as part of the Z by HP Ambassador community. His dedication to sharing knowledge, testing emerging solutions, and supporting education through real-world collaboration reflects the best of what this program is all about.

Congratulations, Amed! 👏
